Pittsburgh, zombies and shopping malls are a match firmly entrenched in horror history and local lore. That’s why organizers with The ScareHouse said they are moving into a larger, permanent home inside The Pittsburgh Mills mall for the 2020 Halloween season.
According to a post on its Facebook page, nightly attendance for the haunted attraction will be limited to 50% and each group will be private. Each group will be the only people allowed to enter together and groups will be limited to six people.
Tickets and more information can be found here.
A walk for cause - with a twist! Saturday, Oct. 10 is the 5th Annual Steps Against Melanoma Virtual Walk!
To promote the safety and well-being of participants, the walk has gone virtual so you can participate where you feel comfortable and safe. The walk is done each year to help raise critical funds for the fight to end melanoma, with 100% of the net proceeds from this event supporting the Melanoma Program and tissue bank at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh.
AIM at Melanoma is a global foundation dedicated to finding more effective treatments and ultimately the cure for melanoma, while improving the lives of those it affects.
The Pittsburgh-based Woiner Foundation is proud to partner with AIM at Melanoma in their common mission to promote awareness and to fund melanoma research.
