2 Men Arrested On Drug Charges In Somerset Twp.

SOMERSET, Pa.,None — Two men were arrested on drug charges in Somerset Township Friday evening.

Troopers stopped a car in the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation parking lot in Somerset Township.

Troopers discovered and seized about 17 grams of crack cocaine, a small scale and $388 in cash.

Troy Hogan, 20, and Dontay Taylor, 18, were charged with possession, possession with intent to deliver, criminal conspiracy and related charges.

It was determined that these men have recently been dealing drugs in the Somerset County area, police said.

Officials said they were taken to the Somerset County Jail to await preliminary hearings before District Judge Arthur Cook.

State police in Somerset will continue drug investigations in the Somerset County area in response to the recent violence that is attributed to the illegal drug trade.
