ELLWOOD CITY, Pa. — Police have arrested three juveniles in connection with flag thefts in Ellwood City.
"They had posted on one of the social media websites that they were involved with it, and one of the officers did a good job and picked it up," said Lt. David Kingston of Ellwood City police.
The flags started disappearing earlier this summer.
"I think it's just kind of un-American, because that flag is probably being misused. Come on, I'm a veteran. I like to fly my flag and show my colors," said veteran Larry Wojton.
Police said the three juveniles are also accused of criminal mischief in the borough.
