Biden speaks to Pitt students about preventing campus sex assaults

PITTSBURGH — Vice President Joe Biden made a stop in Pittsburgh Tuesday.

The vice president visited the University of Pittsburgh to deliver remarks on the importance of preventing sexual assault on college campuses across the country.

Biden arrived in Pittsburgh shortly before 11 a.m. He began speaking at about 12:45 p.m. %

Biden will make a number of stops during the “It’s On Us” week of action campaign.

The “It’s On Us” week of action campaign is a national initiative in which college students host events on their campuses to help raise awareness and prevent sexual assault.

Biden will also visit the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and the University of Colorado-Boulder. %
