Highmark, AHN expand collaboration with Johns Hopkins Medicine
Highmark Health, Allegheny Health Network is expanding its collaboration with John Hopkins

PITTSBURGH — Highmark Health, Allegheny Health Network and Johns Hopkins Medicine announced Wednesday that they were expanding their collaboration on gynecologic care, maternal fetal medicine, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and lung transplantation.

The collaboration between AHN’s Women and Children Institute and the Johns Hopkins Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics will create one of the largest coordinated women’s gynecologic and obstetrical health research programs in the country. The partnership will provide AHN patients with streamlined access to hundreds of clinical trials, second opinions and specialized treatments for rare and complex conditions. Expectant women will also have access to the Johns Hopkins Center for Fetal Therapy.
