KeyBank on Wednesday said it will defer payment for at least 90 days for clients facing economic hardship due to the spread of COVID-19.
The retail banking arm of Cleveland-based KeyCorp (NYSE:KEY) is Pittsburgh’s 8th-largest bank, according to deposit market share, and operates around 53 branches in the region.
KeyBank said it will move forward with the temporary closing of certain locations of its branch network, effective March 30. Branches that remain open will continue to operate as drive-thru and appointment only in order to serve clients’ needs. Details can be found on Key.com/coronavirus.
