Malnight out as Duquesne Light CEO

PITTSBURGH — Steve Malnight is out as president and CEO of Duquesne Light Co.

There was no reason given for Malnight’s departure, and a company spokeswoman reached Monday afternoon declined to discuss internal matters. Mark Kaplan, the CFO, was named the interim CEO.

The news was confirmed late Monday in a statement from the Pittsburgh-based company.
