New name for Federated Investors

PITTSBURGH — This is the last week you’ll see the name Federated Investors Inc. trading on the New York Stock Exchange.

The Pittsburgh-based global investment manager is changing its name to Federated Hermes Inc., expected to be effective on Friday.

Its Class B common stock is to begin trading on Feb. 3 under the ticker symbol FHI. Federated (NYSE:FII) said in a release that it will provide more information about the changes in February.
