Pane è Pronto, a new bread bakery and Italian kitchen, officially opens in the Strip District

PITTSBURGH — Pane è Pronto, a new bread bakery and Italian kitchen, has officially opened in the Strip District from the same owners of the nearby DiAnoia’s Eatery and Pizzeria Davide, Dave Anoia and his wife Aimee DiAndrea.

Located at 2627 Penn Ave., the bakery and kitchen features fresh-baked bread, ready-to-go meals for takeout and fresh pasta to be purchased by the pound between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Customers will be able to select from a variety of different loaves of bread made fresh daily, including Calabrian pitta, ciabatta, sweet and savory focaccias, demi baguettes and three varieties of sour dough bread: house, rosemary and a rotating featured flavor.
