Survey seeks to gauge region’s interest in returning to downtown for work or leisure purposes

PITTSBUGH — The Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership is trying to gauge the region’s interest in its eventual desire to return downtown for work or leisure purposes, and it’s conducting a survey to find out what that might look like more specifically.

To do so, it has teamed up with the International Downtown Association to host, in partnership with RRC Associates, a survey that aims to aggregate responses from over 30 other downtowns throughout the country. As a result of the collaboration, Pittsburgh-area responses will be used in comparison to other city’s to determine how the region ranks in sentiments regarding topics like vaccinations, local health policies and willingness to participate in various public events, among other metrics.
