UPMC, Hall of Fame Health partner to help former football players

PITTSBURGH — Through a new partnership with Hall of Fame Health, a health care concierge service that helps former football players from all levels and their families access health care, UPMC has joined a nationwide effort to improve health care access to former football players.

Hall of Fame Health is a joint venture between the Pro Football Hall of Fame and health care management firm Sovereign Healthcare. It began in 2019 when a number of Hall of Fame football players realized there was a big gap in needed physical and behavioral health care for former players who have either recently or long since transitioned from their days on the field.
