Warren Buffett cuts PNC holdings by 64%

Pittsburgh — The Oracle of Omaha, PNC’s most famous investor, continued to reduce his stake in Pittsburgh’s biggest bank for the second straight quarter, decreasing it by almost two-thirds.

Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway pruned its holdings in PNC Financial Services Group Inc., as well as most other banks — JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Wells Fargo & Co., according to a newly released regulatory filing.

PNC (NYSE:PNC) said it does not comment about its investors.
