Wexford Science + Technology to propose compromise: a shorter building in Oakland

PITTSBURGH — Baltimore-based Wexford Science + Technology LLC is prepared to shrink its proposed office tower slated for 3340 Forbes Avenue in Oakland by two floors of office space and one floor of parking as compromise with opponents of the project.

Joe Reagan, a senior vice president for Wexford, provided an update on the plan after participating in a meeting held by Pittsburgh City Council President Bruce Kraus on Wednesday afternoon over the company’s building proposal, which has been opposed by the councilman and Oakland Planning and Development Corp., among others.
