Where Pittsburgh ranks among nation’s most valuable cities

PITTSBURGH — The combined value of residential real estate in Pittsburgh is close to the stock market value of software giant Oracle Corp.

That's one takeaway from LendingTree's new ranking of most valuable cities, which compares the country's top 50 metros based on the value of their residential real estate markets.

Pittsburgh had a total residential real estate value of $172 billion, putting it on par with Oracle. The Steel City ranked No. 33 on the list.
