Want to be in the movie 'Promised Land' to star Matt Damon?

PITTSBURGH — The feature film "Promised Land" is searching for males and females, of all ages and ethnicities, to work as paid, non-speaking extras.

The film is expected to be directed by Gus Van Sant and star Matt Damon and John Krasinski.

The film is casting people to work one and two-day shoots in the Pittsburgh area from late April through early June 2012.

If you are interested in working as an extra, attend the open casting call on:

When:          Saturday, April 7

Time:            11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (anytime between these hours)

Where:        The Westin Convention Center Pittsburgh, Westmoreland Room (Second Floor)

Please bring a recent color photograph and a pen to the casting call. When you arrive, you will fill out our registration card.

The film is especially searching for great character faces, farmer looks, senior citizens, baseball players, upscale men and women with formal wear, teens and kids.
