Holiday Activities in Washington County

The Washington County Tourism Promotion Agency has highlighted a few upcoming holiday activities. What follows is from a recent news release.

Highlights of the holiday shopping season include:

• Tanger Outlet Center after Thanksgiving Moonlight Sale, November 22-25
Shoppers will feel the energy in the air when they ascend upon the Tanger Outlet Center for the After Thanksgiving Moonlight Sale for the best outlet deals of the year. Tanger Outlets opens at 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving night and great sales will continue throughout the weekend. Shoppers can download special Savings Passes and coupons at http://www.tangeroutlet.com/moonlightmadness.

• Candlelight Christmas at the Shoppes of Scenery Hill, November 24
Experience this picturesque village, enjoy candlelit shoppes and free refreshments on Saturday, Nov. 24, at the Shoppes of Scenery Hill during its Candlelight Christmas festivities. Take the family for a trip back in time to find a unique holiday gift and an unforgettable experience. Admission is free.

• There will also be Holiday Open Houses and Sales at local shoppes including Hearts in the Attic, the Antique Loft at Trax Farms, Duncan & Miller Glass Museum, Antique Center of Strabane, Peacock’s Tale Antiques, Washington Crown Center Mall, The Shoppes at Quail Acres, and others.
