PITTSBURGH - The latest booster seat test results were unveiled Thursday by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
The institute gives 19 of 31 new booster seats on the market a top rating.
Among the top ranking seats are the Britax Parkway SG in “highback mode” and the Harmony Transit Deluxe.
Both received high rankings because the lap belts lie flat across the upper thigh and the shoulder belt fits snugly across the center of the shoulder.
Two other seats, both from Dorel Juvenile Group, ended up on the institute’s “not recommended” list.
