Investigators: Man arrested for soliciting sex with family including 11-year-old

WEXFORD, Pa. — A Wexford man has been arrested for allegedly soliciting sex and then traveling to a hotel to meet whom he believed was an 11-year-old girl and her parents.

Schulties was arrested on Saturday when investigators said he arrived at a Moon hotel to meet the family.

He is charged with one count of unlawful contact with a minor, one count of criminal attempt to commit rape of a child, one count of criminal attempt to commit involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, one count of unlawful contact with a minor, one count of criminal attempt to commit indecent assault and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for next week.
