1 woman dead after two-vehicle crash sends car into house in Lawrence Co.

NORTH BEAVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A woman is dead after a two-vehicle crash sent one car into a house in Lawrence County on Saturday night.

Investigators said a vehicle ran a stop sign and broadsided a car at an intersection in North Beaver Township, sending the broadsided car into a house.

The woman passenger was killed in the crash, and the man driving was not injured but was flown to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, according to authorities.

The driver of the vehicle that ran the stop sign was not injured, said police.

A telephone pole was sheared, wires were brought down and power in the area was knocked out as a result of the crash, said police.

The crash is under investigation.
