11-seed Pitt suffocates 6-seed Iowa State in round of 64 blowout, 59-41

On Friday afternoon, 11-seed Pitt — led by its veterans and an outstanding defensive effort — dominated sixth-seeded Iowa State from wire-to-wire, earning its second NCAA Tournament victory in a row and advancing to the Round of 32 with the 59-41 victory.

Nike Sibande — with some help from the backboard — banked in his first three-point attempt as well.
