2 jailed on charges they forced boys to smoke pot

CONNELLSVILLE, Pa. (AP) — A man and woman have been jailed on charges they forced two boys to smoke marijuana until one passed out and the other vomited.

The public defender for 28-year-old Kaylee Brinker, of Connellsville, and 43-year-old Kenneth Zyskowski, of Greensburg, didn't immediately return a call on the charges including endangering the welfare of children and unlawful restraint of minors.

The (Uniontown) Herald-Standard reported Monday that the suspects face a preliminary hearing on those charges July 17, stemming from an incident that allegedly occurred in the basement of a South Connellsville home on April 11.

That's where the boys said the suspects forced them to remain until they smoked the marijuana.

The boys' ages aren't revealed in the criminal complaints, and it wasn't immediately clear how the suspects know the boys.
