2 people shot in Mt. Oliver, investigators say

PITTSBURGH — Authorities are investigating a shooting in Mt. Oliver Monday afternoon.

Investigators told Channel 11 News that a shooting was reported on St. Joseph Street about 11 a.m. Monday.

Witnesses said they saw two men shooting at each other, and that both were injured.

Nathan Bell, who lives near the scene of the shooting, said, “I could see a guy holding his leg with a gun in his hand, bleeding, limping up the street.”

Bell said the man sat down by a nearby car and “another car came speeding up the street a few minutes later and whisked him away.”
