BUTLER, Pa. - Two school buses were involved in an accident Friday afternoon in Butler.

Investigators said the crash was reported on Dinnerbell Road in Jefferson Township just before 1 p.m.

“My daughter called me at home and told me her bus was in an accident and that her little friend was hurt but for the most part OK,” said parent Ralene Napora.

Three students were injured and taken to nearby hospitals.  None of the injuries were serious, officials said.

Channel 11’s Amy Marcinkiewicz reported the buses were taking the students home early for the start of their holiday break.
