3 arrests made in Pulaski Twp. burglary

PULASKI TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police have arrested three people for their alleged involvement in a July 7 burglary in Pulaski Township.

Authorities in Coitsville Township, Ohio, arrested Brian Dragos, Dianna Howell and Dawna Sayers on Tuesday in connection to the burglary that occurred on State Route 208.

Dragos and Howell were seen near Oak Street on Tuesday when a traffic stop was conducted. Police said they believe the pair had been casing houses.

During the traffic stop, officers discovered that Dragos and Howell were wanted on warrants, and a search of the vehicle uncovered items stolen in the burglary.

Through an interview with Howell, police determined that Howell's boyfriend, Scott Wheeland, was staying with the pair at a hotel. Wheeland, who was also wanted on warrants, was taken into police custody along with Sayers, authorities said.

According to police, items stolen during other burglaries in Ohio were found inside the hotel room.

Police said Howell and Sayers would drive Dragos around and Dragos would break into homes.

Dragos was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief, theft by unlawful taking and criminal conspiracy to commit burglary.

Howell and Sayers were charged with criminal conspiracy to commit burglary and criminal trespass.
