3-year-old hit, killed by truck in Indiana Co.

INDIANA COUNTY, Pa. — A pickup truck hit and killed a little boy Saturday afternoon, and investigators said the boy’s father was behind the wheel.

According to the Indiana County coroner, the truck struck 3-year-old Riley Littleben around 2:30 p.m. when he ran right behind the truck outside of his home on Poplar Avenue. His father, Charleson Littleben, and uncle were moving vehicles from a driveway when the accident happened.

The coroner’s news release listed the cause of death as blunt force trauma of the head, and does not suspect foul play, ruling the death an accident.

There was no word on whether or not the father will face charges.
