4-year-old injured in Aliquippa dog attack weeks after same dog attacks woman

ALIQUIPPA, Pa. — A 4-year-old was hurt when a dog attacked her in an Aliquippa neighborhood earlier this week.

Channel 11's Amy Marcinkiewicz spoke to the girl's mother, Tashawna Lindsey, Thursday who said her daughter was playing in a yard on Irwin Street when the sharpei-beagle mix bit her daughter.

Lindsey said her daughter spent the night in the hospital after the dog broke free from its chain and clamped down on her body.

"She was hollering, screaming and crying," said Lindsey.

Rhameicka Clark said she was attacked by the same dog just a few weeks ago.

"He got me right on the leg.  I still have the marks," she said.

The dog's owner has been charged with harboring a dangerous dog and not having a license for the animal. The dog has been placed in quarantine.
