45 recent car break-ins reported in Ligonier

LIGONIER, Pa. — Forty-five recent car break-ins in the past three weeks have been reported in Ligonier.

Police said thieves stole change and pricey electronics from the vehicles.

"We followed up on a couple leads, and we're back to square one.  We're asking from help from the community," said Chief John Berger of Ligonier police.

Police urge drivers to lock their doors.

"I never leave anything valuable in there," driver Greg Corbett said.
