Construction on new terminal at Pittsburgh International Airport impacting roadways; here’s how

PITTSBURGH — Continuing construction on a new terminal at Pittsburgh International Airport is impacting roadways, meaning travelers should allow themselves extra time.

According to a news release, the next phase of construction began Tuesday.

As of Tuesday, the I-376 West ramp will be reduced to one lane and the airport entry road will be reduced to two lanes.

Signs will be updated as construction continues.

The airport is urging travelers to be cautious as they enter the airport, and to give themselves extra time to get to their flight.

At this time, the new terminal is set to be completed in 2025.
