PITTSBURGH — Hundreds of people turned out to several locations across Pennsylvania in protest of Gov. Wolf’s essential business and stay at home orders.

In Pittsburgh, people gathered outside the City-County Building downtown for the #TakeBackControl rally. Local businesses Channel 11 talked with said they want to get back to work or their businesses will fold. People were holding signs, wearing face masks and a group with rifles also showed up to join the event.

In Butler, roughly 100 people gathered outside the Butler County Courthouse to protest the orders. In a social media post for the event, organizers asked, “Why keep everything closed if we may all be immune?”
At the state capital in Harrisburg, a massive crowd gathered holding signs and honking horns. Many in the crowd could be seen not abiding by the social distancing guidelines medical professionals said help slow the spread of the coronavirus. Many people were also not wearing masks. Streets around the capitol were clogged with groups of drivers and bikers continuing to circle the area.
