• Authorities investigating crash involving ambulance on Route 65


    SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Several people were hurt after two cars and ambulance were involved with an overnight in Lawrence County.

    Police said the accident happened around 1 a.m. on Route 65.

    Police said the driver of a car crossed the center line, hit another car and then got broadsided by the ambulance.

    Emergency crews said the driver who crossed the center line was trapped for a brief time in her car.

    At the time, there were no patients in the ambulance, and the paramedics weren't seriously injured police said.

    Police are investigating and have not said if any charges would be filed.
