• Baldwin man accused of shooting wife to death

    BALDWIN, Pa. - Allegheny County police said a Baldwin man fatally shot his wife early Sunday during a domestic dispute at their home and then attempted suicide.

    Police charged Benjamin Conway Jr., 31, with shooting his wife, Kimberly Jo, 33, around 1 a.m. inside their residence in the 5200 block of Meadowcrest Road. Benjamin Conway Jr., who cut his wrists with a piece of glass, was being treated at a local hospital, police reported. A relative disarmed Conway after the shooting and called police.

    Police charged Conway with homicide and other counts.
