BEAVER FALLS, Pa. (AP) — A Beaver County man has been charged with criminal homicide in his wife's 1993 drowning death following a coroner's inquest in which a witness said he saw the man hold the woman under water with a long-handled pool skimmer.
Beaver County District Attorney Anthony Berosh and the Patterson Township police charges were filed against Jon Lang, 54, of Industry, after Thursday's coroner's inquest into the June 18, 1993 death of 34-year-old Debbie Lang.
Authorities said the new witness was an overnight guest who was just 16 at the time.
According to police, he came forward this year and told investigators what he saw.
