Two Beaver County boys honored as superheroes

Beaver County — The Superheroes Believe in Miracles organization on Sunday honored two boys who are featured in the 2021 superheroes calendar.

Brodi and Jordin Babilon were given the red carpet treatment at their home in New Brighton, Beaver County, when officials presented them with the Superheroes Believe in Miracles 2021 calendar, which features both boys.

Brodi is Captain America and Jordin is Captain Marvel in the calendar. Brodi’s crusade is Autism and Jordin’s is Down Syndrome, CHD, and Trach.

    • Superheroes Believe in Miracles is a 501c3 nonprofit that empowers children facing illness, disability, or limitations to recognize and embrace their inner superhero as part of their mission. Each year, Superheroes Believe in Miracles hosts fundraisers and events and sends out birthday packages to these superheroes.

    This year, 13 local superheroes are being featured in the calendar, and they were given the opportunity to dress up and be photographed.

    Each calendar is available for purchase for $10 plus $7 shipping.
