Benefit events for Adam Snow to be held Saturday

KITTANNING, Pa. — Benefit events for Adam Snow’s family will be held Saturday at Attaboyz Bar & Grill and the Oakwood Tavern in Kittanning.

Starting at 1 p.m., the events will help to raise money to cover the medical expenses acquired after Snow, 15, underwent a life-saving liver transplant in November.

Snow had developed flu-like symptoms and yellowing eyes when he was taken to Children’s Hospital last month. Doctors soon diagnosed him with a mysterious and incurable disease from an airborne virus that began attacking his liver and causing it to fail.

Snow is now recovering at home from the surgery, but his family still has medical bills to pay.

Saturday’s events at Attaboyz Bar & Grill and the Oakwood Tavern, both located on South Jefferson Street in Kittanning, will have food, giveaways and live music.
