Bill Cowher involved in chain-reaction car crash

NEW YORK — Former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher was involved in a chain-reaction crash over the weekend in New York.

According to the New York Daily News, Cowher was driving his Mercedes Sunday on Park Avenue in Manhattan when he was cut off by a woman, then hit another woman’s Ford Fusion. That vehicle crashed into scaffolding on the sidewalk, cracking a pole and causing construction materials to fall.

No injuries were reported.
