PITTSBURGH, Pa — A blind baby northern elephant seal was found stranded and malnourished in California.
The Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium have pools specifically designed for marine mammals with special needs.
The seal, named Coolio, arrived this week and is getting used to his new home and the new voices of his trainers.
While he adjusts to his new home, he won’t be on public display.
