Bloomfield family doctor arrested on child pornography charges

McCANDLESS, Pa. — A family doctor was arrested on child pornography charges Thursday morning.

Mark Janosko, 47, was taken into police custody at his McCandless home after authorities said they found thousands of child pornography videos on his computer.

According to police, Janosko confessed to downloading the videos and said he didn’t think he had a problem. He told police he has viewed and downloaded child pornography on and off for years, but never touched a child.

Investigators said the videos were of boys, ranging in age from 5 to 12 years old, exposing themselves and performing sexual acts.

Janosko is facing charges of possessing and disseminating child pornography.

He practices at West Penn Associates in Bloomfield.
