McKEESPORT, Pa. - A man’s body was found in the Monongahela River Thursday morning in McKeesport, according to investigators.
The body was found by boaters who were out fishing near the McKees Point Marina, officials said.
The Allegheny County medical examiner identified the victim as Allen Reese, 45, of Portview. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.

“He was fully clothed. He was at the base of one of the hold mills, not accessible to the shore,” said McKeesport Fire Chief Jeff Tomovcsik.
Officials told Channel 11’s Melanie Gillespie that the body was likely in the water for days.
“We were able to get down there. County officials got pictures and it was raining pretty hard, but it didn’t hinder the recovery at all,” Tomovcsik said.
Police said at this point in the investigation, foul play is not suspected.
