• Unauthorized bar shut down after 6 injured in shooting


    CLAIRTON, Pa. - Hours after six people were shot, police shut down an unauthorized bar Friday in Clairton.

    Investigators said the shooting happened at an illegal speakeasy on Miller Avenue around 1:30 a.m.

    Police said a group of men in their 20s walked into the building and started a fight with people inside. Shortly after, officers said, gunfire erupted, injuring six people.

    Channel 11’s Brandon Hudson reported that two of those hurt suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

    Channel 11’s Renee Kaminski was there Friday afternoon as police shut the bar down.


    Police said the shooter or shooters remain the loose.
