Carnegie Library gives books and diapers to parents with newborns

PITTSBURGH — Families with newborns got some free books and much-needed diapers at the Carnegie Library in the Hill District.

The library gave away the “Best Book for Babies 2022″ and two packages of diapers to those who arrived.

Around 2,800 books were given away, along with 40,000 diapers.

Organizers focused on the event to help families during inflation.
