• Ceremony on North Shore marks 60th anniversary of end of Korean War

    PITTSBURGH - About 150 people braved the rainy weather Saturday afternoon to attend a service at the Korean War Veterans Memorial on Pittsburgh’s North Shore to mark the 60th anniversary of the end of the Korean War.

    Of those who served in Korea, 26,000 were from the Pittsburgh area.
