PITTSBURGH — The City of Pittsburgh announced that the Sue Murray pool on Pittsburgh’s North Side will be open for the summer.

The city also released an updated schedule for the Riverview Park pool.
“We apologize for not opening this pool in a timely fashion, but we will always do the work it takes to make things right,” Mayor Ed Gainey said. “Equitable access to our pools and parks is critical to making Pittsburgh a city for all of u and we are thankful to the community for working with us to open Sue Murray this summer.”
The Sue Murray pool will open on Wednesday, June 29. It will be open Monday through Thursday, and Saturday hours will begin on July 9.
Sue Murray pool operating hours:
Monday through Thursday from 12 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. The first hour of operation will have space for adult lap swim.
Saturdays (beginning July 9) from 1 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. for open swim.
Updated hours for Riverview Park pool:
Friday and Monday from 12 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Adult lap swim will take place from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 7 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
