Cold temperatures overnight, snow possible for early week

PITTSBURGH — It will be quiet but cold this evening so make sure to grab your winter coat before you head out. Wind chills will be in the 20s tonight.

Sunday morning will start dry but the next system will bring rain and snow into the area starting around midday. The bulk of this system will come through in the afternoon and early evening hours.

The rain/snow line is key to the forecast for Sunday. Some areas could pick up a few inches of snow by Monday morning, mostly north and west of the city. Pittsburgh is likely to see up to 1″ of snow into Monday. Areas south and east will be primarily rain showers cutting down on snow accumulations in these locations of around 1″ or less.
