BUFFINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A man was killed in a crash in Buffington Township, Indiana County, early Sunday morning.
Clifford McCachren III died when his car traveled several hundred feet through a yard along Route 403 about 3 a.m., striking several trees and crashing into a drainage ditch, according to the Indiana County coroner. Alcohol is believed to have played a role in the accident.
McCachren, 29, of Vintondale, Cambria County, died from blunt force injuries to the head and neck, the coroner said.
