PITTSBURGH — Crews have removed a fallen tree and McArdle Roadway is reopened, however, traffic delays are still being reported in the area.
A fallen tree began blocking McArdle Roadway, the primary detour for the Liberty Tunnel closure, about 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Emergency dispatchers told Channel 11 News that crews responded to the scene immediately and had the tree removed in less than an hour.
Traffic is moving in both directions, but significant delays are expected.
