Ditch collapse briefly traps worker in Beaver County

BEAVER COUNTY, Pa. — A construction worker at a job site in Beaver County was briefly trapped in a ditch on Monday morning.

The worker was digging in the housing development surrounding the Seven Oaks Country Club when dirt fell on him, pinning his legs and lower torso about 8 a.m., the Ohioville Police Department reported. A fellow construction worker dug out the man before police, fire and rescue personnel arrived.
