PITTSBURGH — A dog that ran away from home over 14 months ago was reunited with its family Tuesday.
Officials with the Animal Rescue League said the dog had eluded animal control officers in Squirrel Hill before he was safely brought to their facility.
The dog somehow made it Squirrel Hill from its home in Verona.
The owners had offered a reward for the safe return of their pup, which they have since donated to the ARL.
