Dr. Oz makes campaign stop in Greensburg, pursuing open senate seat

GREENSBURG, Pa. — Dr. Mehmet Oz greeted voters today in Greensburg as he pursues the open senate seat in Pennsylvania.

Oz says he’s running for the seat because our system is broken.

This is Dr. Oz’s first visit to western Pennsylvania after jumping into the crowded and important senate race, that could determine control of the United States Senate.

A large field of candidates for both Republicans and Democrats are vying to fill the seat currently held by Sen. Pat Toomey, who won’t be running again.

Critics say that Oz’s lack of ties to the Keystone State could hurt his chances. He changes his voter registration to his in-laws’ Pennsylvania address in 2021.
