Driver narrowly misses crashing into 2 houses, lands in creek in Irwin

IRWIN, Pa. — A car narrowly missed hitting two houses and landed in a creek Wednesday morning in Westmoreland County.

Authorities said the crash happened about 8 a.m. Wednesday on Wainwright Drive in Irwin.

According to police, the car traveled off the road, skidded between two houses and ended up in a stream.

Investigators said a medical issue caused the driver to veer off the road.

There is no word on the driver’s condition.
