PITTSBURGH — A police officer was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital early Monday morning after being hit by a driver.
Investigators said the accident happened on East Liberty Boulevard in Larimer.
According to police, a driver of a Jeep Liberty ran a red light and crashed into the officer's car.
The officer was checked out and is expected to be OK.
So far, police have not said what charges the driver may face.
